The Templars were protecting pilgrims going to Jerusalem. They answered only to the Pope and became very rich and powerful. So much so that the King felt threatened by them and had them arrested and executed.
I enjoy playing Lair for hours at a time, me and my dragon have become good friends. maybe the reviewrs forgot they are on a dragon that will avoid crashing against a mountain by taking evasive action....unlike a plane... maybe that's why they had a control issue with the dragon. If they have trouble with the targetting system, they dont have to use it.
I do quite well with or without it.
Lair is a pretty good game and I am glad I didnt listen to the reviews...not the 1st time a...
I think Sony was being sarcastic when it sent the play guide.
The message is: go back to Game Reviewing school and learn how to do your job !

I dont care if every reviewer said its not good, I bought Lair and I LOVE it ! Maybe the reviewers need to play Lair with their hands out of their pockets? they may do better. And I dont try to push the game in anybody's throat but I am as much entitled to my opinion as any reviewer.

The 6 axix adds to the feeling of being in the game.
SO if you love dragons, buy the game.
if you love flying, buy the game.
if you love epic battles, buy the game.
I guess the reviewers got used to the all the crappy Wii games and forgot what a really good game is supposed to look like.
I also have a wii and the only good game on it is Resident Evil.
Lair is a great game, cant put it down... maybe some reviewers need flight lessons ?

If you think Lair is unplayable you either havent played it or you still have your mommy tie your shoe laces. Maybe a Physical Therapist can improve your physical skills?
I have Lair and have no problems with any aspect of the game.
I havent had any problems with LAIR, the controls are great, some said there is a too much lag but I dont see it. The best game for the PS3 right now !
I bought Lair today and played it for 3 hours. it is a magnificent game, the graphics are breathtaking. I dont know what all those complaints about the controls are about...I didnt have any problems controlling my dragon. Whoever did the review must still have their mom tie their shoe laces...a little skill is necessary to control the beast.I am glad I ignored the bad reviews and got it, that game is worth every penny !

I bought Lair on day 1 and I just love that game ! The controls are very easy to use, I dont get all those people having trouble with it. It is a gorgeous game, 8.5/10 in my book.
